M.Sc. Dissertation: Multi-Epitope Vaccine Design Against Hepatitis B Virus
Alagappa University
Supervisor: Dr. M. Karthikeyan
- Screened more than 111,000 HBV protein sequences across 8 genotypes for conservation, antigenicity, and human non-homology.
- Built and validated a multi-epitope construct with greater than 97% global population coverage for MHC-I/II binding.
- Automated more than 2,000 immuno-toxicity filtering steps using custom Perl scripts.
- Modeled host immune response using C-ImmSim and codon-optimized the final construct for expression in E. coli.
